Per completed assignment, according to the rate grid: residential $150, duplex/small multi $180, commercial $250–280, +$80 per additional building, plus a travel premium for remote zones. Paid every two weeks by Interac e-Transfer or on invoice.
No. You upload your photos to your operator workspace; the platform generates the report. You validate it, and we deliver it to the client.
Assignments are offered to you based on the areas you have declared. You are free to accept or decline each one, at your own pace.
A valid RPAS pilot certificate (Transport Canada, advanced preferred), a drone with a good camera, and liability insurance for your operations.
No. You are an independent self-employed worker. You manage your own equipment, schedule, insurance and taxes. No source deductions.
Notify Drone-MTL as early as possible: we'll reassign the assignment or reschedule with the client.
Upload your photos the same day as the flight. The target for delivering the report to the client is 24 to 48 h after the flight.
Yes, the agreement is not exclusive. You simply cannot directly solicit or serve clients you came to know through Drone-MTL (non-circumvention clause of the agreement).
Fill out the registration form, choose your password and your areas. Once your certification is validated, your account is activated and you can start receiving assignments.
