These terms apply to the drone roof inspection services offered under the Drone-MTL brand, operated by Hardiesse. By booking an inspection, you accept these terms.
1The service
Drone-MTL conducts a flight by remotely piloted aircraft (drone) over the indicated property, in order to produce a visual roof inspection and a report. Flights are operated by an advanced RPAS pilot certified by Transport Canada, in compliance with applicable regulations.
2Booking and confirmation
A request submitted online is without obligation. The agreement is confirmed when we validate the date and price with you, by phone or email. A flight authorization must be signed by the owner (or a person with the authority to consent) before the flight.
3Pricing and payment
- Residential inspection from 250 $, plus applicable taxes (GST and QST).
- The exact price is confirmed before any travel to the site.
- Payment is due upon delivery of the report, according to the terms indicated on the invoice.
4Cancellation and rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- A cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance, or an inability to access the property upon our arrival, may result in travel charges.
- Drone-MTL may reschedule or cancel without penalty a flight for reasons of weather, safety or airspace restrictions. A new date is then proposed to you.
5Nature and limits of the report
The report constitutes a visual reference and a decision-making aid. It does not constitute a certified building inspection or an expert appraisal, and does not replace the opinion of a roofer, building inspector or engineer. Any finding must be validated on site by a certified expert before any decision, transaction or work.
6Liability
Drone-MTL and Hardiesse decline all liability for decisions made solely on the basis of the report. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability, for any claim related to the service, is limited to the amount paid for the inspection concerned. We are not liable for indirect damages (loss of profit, loss of use, consequential damages). This limit does not apply to anything that cannot be excluded by law.
7Images and confidentiality
The captured images are kept confidential and used solely for your inspection and your report, in accordance with our privacy policy. Any other use requires your separate written consent.
8Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in the province of Quebec. Any dispute falls under the competent courts of the judicial district of Longueuil.
